Address Validator only processes orders in supported countries that go through the standard checkout and that have not yet been fulfilled. You will not be charged for historical orders.
When an address cannot be validated, the customer is warned via a prompt on the checkout flow. Furthermore, Address Validator has an email notification feature that can alert the store owner and/or the customer whenever an order contains an address cannot validated.
Address Validator allows you to block or warn against the following types of addresses:
- PO Boxes
- Private Mailboxes
- Parcel Collects
- DHL Packstations
- Addresses without house #s
- Addresses without street name
- Extra long addresses
- Addresses with non-latin characters
- Noncontiguous US states
- Military addresses
- Rural New Zealand addresses
Address Validator can automatically tag valid US addresses as residential or commercial.
You are charged whenever a customer specifies a shipping address and proceeds to the next step of checkout. You will not be charged if the customer drops out before specifying the shipping address. Additionally, you will only be charged once per order, even if the customer alters the address multiple times.
